GO BIG OR GO HOME

By Bishop Dr. Leroy J. Woodard Jr.

Most people do not succeed for the simple reason that they are out of position. Opportunity knocks at their door, but they are out to lunch. The biggest factor keeping most people out of position for success is bondage to the past. Guilt, shame, regret, anger, bitterness, an unforgiving spirit and other baggage from the past prevent people from moving forward. People who focus on the past cannot focus on the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, which is the destiny of every believer.

TITHING IS MORE THAN GIVING

The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
